Tuesday, March 24, 2015 is the 1st anniversary of Taiwo Akinlami Child Protection Day, declared to call special attention, through a specified activity/theme to the divine mandate I received 18years ago concerning child protection.
Our activity of focus this year is to raise funds for families, whose children are out of school as a result of loss of spouse, broken home, family financial crisis and other related circumstances. The goal is to fund the education of the children of the recipient family for at least one (1) year. The foregoing fund will be raised under our Adopt-a-Family Education Fund (AE-FUND), which shall also be formally launched on March 24, 2015.
We have as at today identified at least 3 families, whose children are out of school as a result of spouse loss, broken home or family financial crises. The education needs of the children of the identified families for at least 1(one) have been carefully profiled and budgets attached. These families are known as AE-FUND families.
How does our Adopt-a-Family Education Fund (AE-FUND) work? After identifying an AE-FUND family, we seek support according to their education needs from sponsors, who we call the AE-FUND Sponsors. When an AE-FUND Sponsor signifies interest in sponsorship, we send him/her the profile of all the available AE-FUND families from where he/she chooses according to his/her capacity.
When an AE-FUND Sponsor signifies interest in adopting a family for at least 1(one) year, we link the AE-FUND Sponsor with their adopted AE-FUND family. We neither collect funds on behalf of the adopted AE-FUND family nor encourage the AE-FUND Sponsor to give fund to the family. We encourage the AE-FUND Sponsor to release the funds directly to the institution of learning, where the children attend. An AE-FUND Sponsor may also support in kind, where he/she runs an institution of learning and he/she is will to meet the education needs of our AE-FUND families by way of scholarship.
On March 24, 2015, the 1st year anniversary of Taiwo Akinlami Child Protection Day and to mark my 45th Birthday, we shall reach out to at least 3(three) families under our Adopt-a-Family Education Fund (AE-FUND).
As I remain sober on my knees today, I charge you to be part of our Adopt-a-Family Education Fund (AE-FUND) by sending a message, titled, ‘I am an AE-FUND Sponsor’ to ask@taiwoakinlami.com or send an SMS to 234-8033-620-843 and we will send you the profiles of AE-FUND families on our database right now and take it from there.
Dear duty bearer, if you have ever thought about how to support our noble cause, this is a worthy opportunity. If you would like to make my day on my birthday, this is how to do it.
Thank you and do have an INSPIRED week.
Taiwo Akinlami sober on his knees on the LORD’S Day.
