My dear girl child, it has become necessary to do you this memo as your dad. I recognize that we are living in a rapidly changing world, yet the things that distinguish you as a girl on her way to womanhood has not changed. I really think as a father, who has used this life for a while now, I should address you, dear girl child.

No, this is not what you think…Not at all…I am not about to talk about your personal safety and self protection and your inevitable roles therein…You know we have addressed that many times in our relationship and I will still address that when the need arises…

I am not also about to address the inequality of our world against you…Not at all…It is to the huge shame of our world that we are yet to see that male and female are equal before God in all physical, emotional and spiritual endowments. It is also to the colossal loss of our world that despite the great and awesome things your gender has achieved for our world, even in some places where the male gender cringe, we are yet to appreciate your invaluable worth and your indispensability to our total existence as people…

You see, dear daughter, I think that if we are not careful the way we hammer on these issues of safety and gender inequality, we may succeed, contrary to our laudable intentions that you are living in a world that is completely hostile against you…My fear is that when we succeed in doing that, we create in you a SIEGE MENTALITY. A SIEGE MENTALITY is an INSTITUTIONALIZED fear, which creates permanent MENTAL PARALYSIS. This MENTAL PARALYSIS kills innovation and initiatives before they even arrive on the shores of your mind…

Dear daughter, this may be sounding unlike your dear dad, who always talk about how the world is unfair to you and how you must be conscious of that and be ready to fight for your relevance…

Yes, the message has not changed…This is addressing the roots of the matter…I am just concerned that the reason why you may feel inadequate today is not even about the inequality in the world…It is because we introduce you to the inequality as your parents even before you meet it in the world…We make it sound like no matter what you do, there is an unfriendly world waiting for you out there, ready to thwart the best of your efforts…In that state you pay little or not attention to best efforts, excusing yourself in your mind that no matter what I do, the world, highly skewed in her unfairness against me will neither give me my due nor give me credit…

Again a lot of times, because of our early discussion with you as a girl child, you grow with a determination to prove to an unjust and unfair world that you are relevant…You are so consumed in this point proving agenda, which is often unconscious that you may live your whole life not living but proving to a world that the world is wrong. In the process, you get angry, deny the accurate and divine arrangement of life and conclude that you are even able to play the role of the male gender, even better than the men…

In this series of memo my dear daughter, I want to introduce you to your own world. The world of your inner mind, empowered by God to dream and do all things, according to the measure of the infinite and divine endowments for you…I want us to travel an unexplored world of the possibilities, which reside inside of you…I want us to explore the your invaluably priceless uniqueness as a girl child, installed by God in a measureless torrents…I will show and prove to you that that the much-talked about GLASS CEILING is a proverb, only existing in your conditioned mind…

I think, I have told you enough of what the world has said you cannot do for which I now have a huge regret…Now, in a state of repentance, I want to focus on what your Creator has said you can do…I have come to recognize that what you behold in WORDS and IMAGES, you become. As a matter of fact, WORDS will always become FLESH and FLESH will become PILLARS…That is why the greatest WEAPON in the HANDS of the OPPRESSOR is the MIND of the OPPRESSED…

In this series, I will address both your inner and external beauty…I will talk about the power that is divinely resident in you…I will tell you about your advantage…I mean your edge. I will speak of your GRACE as I will talk about how to cultivate same in CHARM positively…I will talk about your ELEGANCE and how to develop same into irresistible POISE…I will share with you what I have tagged the CULTURE of the GIRL CHILD…I will charge you on how to convert your RESERVATION to high-earning DIGNITY, HONOUR and RESPECT…

My dear daughter, I think with this discussion, we are ready to take this same whole wide world by a surprising storm…This is the GIRLS REVOLUTION, but the world hasn’t seen anything like this before and your dad means it…
