If you have sat where I have continued to sit since 1997, you cannot but have my kind of burden or more for Women Working with Children. If for whatever reason you do not have such burden, you will at least understand why this is my burden today.

And if you do not sit where I sit but you observe our Third World happenings and tendencies, you will either pick the burden, be interested in same or at least understand where I speak from today.

You all know that I am a Social Development Lawyer, whose area of interest and primary constituency is the family and every other private and public institutions responsible for Securing A FRIENDLY and PROTECTIVE Environment® for the precious African children.

Where I sit as a Social Development Lawyer in the last 21 years, I have had the privilege of working with many Women Working with children both as primary and secondary caregivers, both at the lowest and highest levels.

I have been fortunate to be part of the success stories of many and yet I have been burdened directly by the seemingly insurmountable troubles of many more.

I also have heard stories and handled bizarre cases; completely unbelievable, even unimaginable.

Many of the trouble I deal with are nothing but as a result of what a dominantly Patriarchal Society like the Third World believe about women.

It is my experience in the area of working with many women, who care about children both as poor and rich, but are limited by the dictates of the society that created the need for our program for WoW(Women Working) with Children® Conference.

From Friday, July 24 – Sunday, July 26, 2020 the second edition of WoW(Women Working) with Children® Conference will hold virtually.

I think it is high time we brought these matters to the very front burner of public discourse so that our women can be better placed to play their inevitable roles in the lives of their precious children.
