Last week, we revisited Oxbridge Tutorial College to deliver a refresher course on Child Safeguarding and Protection, continuing our partnership that began in 2011 to develop robust safeguarding frameworks. This year’s session, led by myself and distinguished colleagues Mr. Olanipekun Kazeem, Mrs. Safiyat Jibrin-Hamza, and Ms. Victoria Gongote, reaffirmed the college’s unwavering commitment to these critical protocols.

Oxbridge Tutorial College’s dedication to Child Safeguarding and Protection is notably championed by its leadership, particularly Dr. Mrs. Femi Ogunsanya, who is a stalwart in Nigeria’s educational landscape. As the founder of Nigeria’s premier sixth-form school and the founding chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Private Educators in Nigeria, Dr. Ogunsanya has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership by actively participating in every safeguarding session, including this year’s training — a practice seldom observed in the educational sector.
