Hello friends. It is the weekend and I think we should relax our minds. I have therefore decided to proceed on a two-day break from the hard side of Daily FIREWorks. This means we will continue our topic: ‘Decode Your Identity’ on Monday. Thank you.

I have today a guest, who will be sharing with us a thought on the child, titled, ‘You are a Marvel.’  Meet Pablo Casals, a Spanish Catalan cellist and conductor. At age four Casals could play the violin, piano and flute; at the age of six he played the violin well enough to perform a solo in public. He died at the age of 96 in 1973 celebrated by our world. Hear his instructive words:

Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again  And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are?

You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel?

You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.”
