Happy New Year Friends. I ask for your sincere opinion, please deny me not: I started my blog @ http://www.taiwoakinlami.wordpress.com on January 2012. It an attempt to create a Knowledge Sharing Platform on matters of Social Empowerment Advocacy, particularly as it relates to Child Protection in Africa. One year after I have written 193 articles by the grace of God, the blog has been visited by 1,676 like-minded people from 31 countries. We are surely not where we want to be but we are far from where we used to be. I do not despise the days of humble beginnings. They are the keys to greater glory. My goal is to have a minimum of 1miilion visitors a day by the Year 2017 (So help us God).
I have been thinking about how to mark the one year anniversary of the blog. I have thought about many things but it appears, I have been able to narrow it to just one. I am not sure it will fly, hence i have brought it here for your opinion. I am thinking of inaugurating, Taiwo Akinlami’s Blog Readers Annual Conference.’ It is an annual conference (beginning from this year 2013),which seeks to bring together on yearly basis my blog readers and their friends to share ideas which will move the issues of Social Empowerment Advocacy, particularly as it relates to my primary heartbeat, Child Protection in Africa to the next level of enlightenment and Empowerment.
What do you think friends? I need your opinions and I do really treasure them…It is a good idea in that it will create another platform of expression? What do you think about the name?
