IT’S CHILDREN’S DAY AND S.A.F.E™VILLE COMIC COMES BEARING GIFTS FOR THESE PRECIOUS SOULS

‘Evil is no march for good but good must be ACTIVE.’ Jim Rohn

The precious Nigerian children must be treated preciously for they are precious in the sight of the Almighty God.

The precious Nigerian children must not be a dumping ground for morally bankrupt contents (in the name of music and entertainment) that have not contributions to make to their present and future; contents that set them up for abuse and irrelevance in the present and future.

Though I know that today, across the nation, many, who may claim to be celebrating our precious children will still expose them to contents with mild, heavy, direct and indirect lewdness in the name of entertainment.

But it is our dream that one day, it will both be immoral and illegal to expose our precious children and absorbent souls to entertainment (particularly musical) contents that do nothing but to rape them of their innocence, groom them for sexual abuse and immorality, load them with vanity, rob them of virtue and leave them empty of VALUE-BASED contents.

It is our dream that one day and it shall not be too far, it shall not be called entertainment anymore, where children are concerned, if it does not edify the soul and spirits of our precious children and preserve the contents of their CHILDHOOD (curiosity, fearlessness, joy, peace, innocence and freedom)

The precious Nigerian children deserve the best of contents as we celebrate their days with them. If they deserve the best, someone, somewhere, somehow must be ready to give expression to their need for the best. The best in education, education through play; the best in career development and enlightenment, career development through the inculcation of the 21st Century Core Skills and Competencies; the best through the provision of VALUE-BASED ALTERNATIVES to the morally bankrupt contents in music and entertainment.

It is in the spirit of the foregoing that we celebrate this year’s Children’s Day with the precious Nigerian children with the launch of our S.A.F.E™VILLE TOUR. It is an all year round affair, which focuses on Comic Reading, Light but VALUE-BASED conversations, Impromptu Comic Drimatization by the precious participating children. It is hosted by schools any other Child-Focused or Child-Interested institutions/organisation. It is for children from age 8 to 18 in small group of between 15 and 45(maximum).

Our S.A.F.E™VILLE TOUR is available to all who desire it and it is without charge. Just follow the information on the handbill.

Happy Children’s Day
Yours IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PRECIOUS AFRICAN CHILD,
Taiwo AKINLAMI
