I lived at Ikotun Igbe and worked at GRA Ikeja and it was my routine to take a motorcycle (okada) from Ikotun to Iyana-Isolo and from there joined a bus to the office. I was on okada in one of those days in 2003, when it came to me like a rush that I have a responsibility to give direction to today’s young people by promoting POSITIVE VALUE SYSTEM. I have not been disobedient to this instruction, which I believe to be divinely inspired and my obedience has yielded tremendous fruits over the years.

I run a yearly well subscribed but free conference for children, run other programs, written 900 pages S.A.F.E™ Instructional manual, publish a monthly comic, known as S.A.F.E™VILLE Comic, speaks at graduations ceremonies, camp meetings and other programs for children (and teenagers), taught in the children’s arm of religious places of worship, sits on the Board of Child-Focused NGOS, serves as mentor to children and teenagers, appear in radio and TV programs, work with parents, schools and leading local and international organisations in providing direction for their precious teenagers. All of the foregoing and more, I have done with outstanding results and today reached over 50,000 young people.

Again, I am inspired to spend a day with these precious young ones (age 10-18) at program tagged, The S.A.F.E™VILLE ONE-DAY CLUB, holding on August 17(Mainland) and August 24(Island).

I seek though this encounter to guide our precious children (tweenagers and teenagers) to create their own PERSONAL SAFETY and SELF-PROTECTION CONSTITUTION, using the POSTIVE VALUE SYSTEM MODEL, employing VALUE-BASED and AGE-APPROPRIATE PLAY and FUN tools like music, spoken words, games, audio-visual materials, animated lectures and other activities.

It is my finding that most parents spend huge resources in educating the heads of their children and little or no resources in educating their hearts (the seat of POSITIVE VALUE SYSTEM). I see this as a major error as most parents forget that the heart will always be the compass for the head.

Thus, The POSITIVE VALUE SYSTEM, the model around which the S.A.F.E™VILLE ONE-DAY CLUB is designed to help our precious children to understand how life works, equipping them to be resourceful and resilient in creating opportunities and making the best of every experience, perceived as favourable or unfavourable.
