THE PARABLE OF THE FISH, RIVER NAIJA AND RIVER SOUTH

The fish lives in its natural habitat, water, River NAIJA…The water became too hot. Instead of nourishing the fish, it boils it…

The fish feels powerless and did not confront those who brought the water to the boiling point, whose mandate was to cool the water and make it habitable…

The fish got news of fresh water in another land…

They fled in droves and found space in the foreign water…River SOUTH…

After a while the fish, whose natural and original habitat is the River SOUTH began to feel choked. The choked fish fought for their space in the water.

Yet the observers did not see that the fish on both sides of the waters are locked down in a battle of survival and they are both victims of the handlers of waters of River NAIJA and River SOUTH, whose primary aim should be the welfare and the security of the fish ..

If the water at home was cool and habitable, would the fish go for water elsewhere?

If the foreign water was conducive for all, why would the fish whose habitat it is protest?

Now, we blame the victims,

Yet we call not to question the irresponsibility of the water handlers in the home who pollute same for a living… Neither do we call to attention the insecurity of the Fish Xeno, whose water handlers have failed to brigde the widening gap between the Big Fish and Small Fish in their own land, rubbishing the legacy of thier own Rolihlahla, the one and only African Madiba…

Now, the fish, who remain in the boiling water of River NAIJA received the news from another land where their fellow fish was harmed, then they turn their anger, on thier fellow and native fish, who also suffer the afflictions of the boiling water at different levels and sizes…

This multiplication of victims. It was not a misdirected aggregation. It was at best transferred aggression and it’s expected when the water become a worthless abode for the fish and he has no access to those who boil it for a living…I think this seemingly simple submission comes from the residue of the quantum of ejaculations of Fanon’s philosophy, expounded in his writings like the Wretched of the earth, the Dying Colonialism and the likes, who I had fruitful fellowship with in my days in LASU, before I succumbed and gladly so, to the cares of FAITH…

So the handlers, who on both sides, who in the first instance brought the water to a boiling point are again not addressing issues. One says, we supported the fish in River SOUTH, when foreigners stirred the water in the land to a boiling point and the immigrant fish from River NAIJA should have been granted an unfettered space in their choking water… Another says they condemn their own fFsh Xeno for reacting to being choked in their own water…

I didn’t know that the reason you support a cause is for you to often rub it on the face of the beneficiary of your support at every provocation…I thought everybody was from my tribe, where we support a cause for the nobility it represents and compatibility of the value behind it and yours. I mean my social tribe, where we know no man after the flesh of their skin but after the character and humanity of their spirit…

The handlers clad in the stinking but perfumed toga of hypocrisy even feinged a fight and spoke some tough but impotent and empty words into the atmosphere. But very soon the celebration of cacophony and chicanery will be over… Israel will go to her tenth…But again I predict, in no distant time the boiling water will as of necessity be stirred again either from this side or the side of River SOUTH and this time the handlers, who boil the water for a living may just be boiled by it… According to the Book that I read, ‘he who digs a pit will fall into.’ If the Book is true and I know it, then, ‘he who boils water to a boiling point will swim in it.’ I see this with nothing but with oracular precision…

The unwary in the water takes sides but the wise knows better to say, ‘I WILL NOT DIE IN THEIR WAR…’ borrowing some priceless but often despised sense from a very wise and discerning inhabitant of the boiling River NAIJA, who I here call DF, the brother of another one, who call Serubawon and I am their relative by blood.

I, The Preacher rest my case here…

Do have an INSPIRED week.

Yours IN THE BEST INTEREST OF RIVER NAIJA AND HER FISH IN SEARCH OF PEACEFUL EXISTENCE,
