The ideal cyber space is one where the internet or digital space is secure and indeed a safe space for all its users.
We live in a digitalized world and the internet has become an integral part of our lives as we depend on the internet and modern technologies for various purposes such as education, commerce, but to mention a few.

The importance of ensuring a secure cyberspace for our precious children cannot be overemphasized especially when we consider how the various attacks and negative influences they are prone to contacting can adversely affect them and their conduct.

It is in this light and understanding that the topic: NO SAFE SPACES? An Open Discussion on Cyber Security and Child Safeguarding and Protection: What are the best practices around the world? was chosen.

In this discussion, we would be examining with our distinguished panelists global best practices which we could adopt to ensure cyber security and ensure that our precious children are protected while using the cyberspace from the various risks and threats present in the cyberspace.

We would also be equipping ourselves with the right knowledge which would help us secure a Friendly and Protective Environment ® for our children both online and offline in their daily interactions and activities at home, in school, and everywhere else they find themselves.

The program would be streaming live on YouTube  via: http://bit.ly/TaiwoAkinlamiYouTubeChannel.
