‘‘No’ is not an answer. It is a mere opinion…’

Hello Friends. I am sure we are all doing well. I am doing great too. It is more than excitement for me to be here today. The truth is whether, I’m excited or not, necessity is laid upon me to inspire. Woe unto me if I do not do what I am doing here.

I broke this series unannounced yesterday. I had a nudge to share with you something that popped up in my mind as I woke up and meditated on varied issues of life. I glad to be back here sharing with you what to make of yourself. I hope you found my post yesterday worth the time or should I say, worth the break. I am always open to your comments.

As we return to our topic, may it please you that I say to you clearly that ‘No’ is not an answer. It is a mere opinion. One thing that has become clear to me through my experiences is that life is not a bed of roses. It is a popular saying.  But it does not end there. You have a choice in the matter. You can say that and call a pity party lamenting your poor family background, child abuse, the state of the economy, your failing health, lack of formal education, lack of connection and capital to begin your business and therefore remain in obscurity forever. Or you can make up your mind to start where you are, with what you have. You do surely have something.   

You have your breath. Thus a sage aptly said, ‘A living dog is better than a dead lion.’ Breath is the most important commodity in the pursuit of man on earth. The truth is, life is not a bed of roses until you dare to acquire a piece of land, buy or hire a cutlass and a hoe, clear the land and make a bed there. Buy a bunch of roses and plant them on the bed you have made. For accelerated growth you can add fertilizer. Then make it a point of duty to water and weed the bed daily then you have a bed of roses.   

When you think and move like this, you are heading towards creating a new generation. In fact you have arrived at a new generation. Please join me tomorrow as I welcome you to a new generation and attempt to define what I mean by a generation.
