I intend to do more.

Believers are not easy to come by in the work that we do, where we represent a Counter-Culture to the dismal reality of a morally bankrupt society, demanding sanity from her precious children.

Take it or leave it, the greatest need of today’s African child is direction in his/her quest to understand how this life works. Yet the most scarce commodity today is still direction.

In the light of this ,I do this shout out to an honourable believer in our relentless cause of Securing A Friendly and PROTECTIVE Environment™ for the precious African child.

I met Dr. Femi Orawusi in 2017, he had come to invite me for the maiden edition of the Teacher’s Conference, being organised by EDU-AID and powered by the Covenant Christian Center.

I believe Convenant Christian Center is one of the most conscious and socially responsible Faith-based institutions in Nigeria. I relate with this well as I boldly make same claim about The Fountain of Life Church, where I worship since 1997.

I spoke at the Teacher’s Conference in 2017, a gathering over 5,000 teachers and was invited back at 2018, a gathering of close to 10,000 teachers. It has been adjudged the biggest gathering of teachers in Nigeria and arguably Africa.

He thereafter registered Mr. Mafikuyomi for EDU-AID at our 2017 S.A.F.E™ for Children System’s Bootcamp.

Dr. Orawusi was at the maiden edition of our S.A.F.E.™ for Me Conference, where we launched our close to 900 pages S.A.F.E™ for Children Instructional Manual. He was not only one of the few people who waited till the end, he invested in copies of the manual instantly, encouraging the work and the spread of the message. He was also present at the second edition, which held in 2018.

At the public presentation of our S.A.F.E™VILLE Comic on Saturday, March 30, at Chrisland Schools, Ladipo Oluwole, he was there to support us fully.

He also did not come empty handed. He brought us a powerful cake, baked by his dearly beloved wife to mark my birthday. I was close to tears, when he arrived with the cake. My team had suggested to me that we should have a birthday cake at the event, being the week of my birthday but in the heat of preparation, it was left out.

Here was Dr. Orawusi with this desired cake, making our day so graciously and putting a priceless icing on the cake of the day.

Today, he remains a believer and two days ago he still sent me a message on possibilities of mutually beneficial collaboration.
