Life is not complicated. I neither thought nor lived so until I met and married my dearly beloved wife of 14 years.
Watching her, I see the unusual grace to simplify life, make the best of most situations and find the silver lining beneath the dirtiest of human conditions.
She once said to me, our testimonies in every situation we face in life is not the victory we crave or achieve at the end of it all, but who we become in the process.
Therefore, her dominant disposition to life is summed up in these words of an ancient sage, ‘but let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.’
It is her ardent belief that God’s greatest gift to man does not consist in the abundance of his/her POSSESSION but his PEACE. I have seen her live out the awesome reality of this truth in the midst of the fiercest battles of life.
As far as she is concerned and I verily agree with, no battle is worth bequeathing your pain and your peace.
Distinguished women, permit me to introduce to you my highly esteemed, beautiful, and supportive wife, Oluwafunlayo AKINLAMI as she shares her Stories, Senses and Stones on how as a woman, you can simplify your lifestyle and make the best of life in all of its ramifications.
