Her passion is from her bones, her mission is from her soul and her mandate is from her spirit.
She has found healing from serial sexual abuse, perpetrated by a trusted adult, while she was yet a child and the seemingly insurmountable impact thereof, and by boldly telling her story, she has brought invaluable succour and healing to so many.
She means the noble business of telling her story, advocating for the rights of our precious children to be protected from sexual abuses and picking up the gauntlet for those whose sexual dignity have been attacked through rape or any other form of sexual abuse. She does not rest until she sees the smiling face of justice beaming at the affected persons, who causes she passionately pleads.
This woman has not room for any form of pity party but for credible action as she helps her world to understand that the shame belongs to the abuser and not the abused; and our silence does not help the abused but emboldens the abuser and breeds the culture of impunity.
She was at the very first WoW Conference 2019, giving us all the moral support in her characteristic support for noble causes.
Distinguished women, permit me to introduce to you highly esteemed Mrs Anthonia Ojenagbon as she brings her impactful passion, deep inner strength and uncommon solutions as she shares with women her story of hope and recovery for women, who experienced one form of sexual abuse or the other at childhood.
